    Description

Volunteer Chair for the League of Women Voters of San Francisco

The League of Women Voters of San Francisco (LWVSF) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to defending democracy.

We are currently looking for a Volunteer Chair to lead a team of volunteer coordinators. This role partners with our Membership Committee and other Committee Chairs with volunteer needs, to connect people who want to help to opportunities, and to develop volunteers to be ready for leadership roles. Our organization is almost completely volunteer-run, and this role allows us to sustain our important work. This position can optionally be a board position, if the candidate is interested in that.

Helpful skills a suitable volunteer might have include:

    • Volunteer management
    • CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Marketing
    • Project management
    • Experience in leadership development
    • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Much of this work can be done remotely. Join Us!
