    Description

    Phoebe’s Safe Haven

    Phoebe’s Safe Haven is a survivor-centered nonprofit dedicated to creating accessible, ADA-compliant safe housing and support services for disabled survivors of domestic violence. We are building our founding team and seeking a "Volunteer Graphic Designer" to help shape the visual identity of our mission.

    About the Role

    As a Volunteer Graphic Designer, you will help bring our story and programs to life through powerful, accessible, and trauma-informed visual design. Your work will directly support fundraising campaigns, social media outreach, donor engagement, and community awareness.

    This is a meaningful opportunity to use your creative skills to support a growing nonprofit serving disabled survivors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design social media graphics (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
    • Create Canva templates for campaigns and awareness posts
    • Develop donor-facing materials (one-pagers, flyers, pitch decks)
    • Support branding consistency (colors, fonts, tone, accessibility)
    • Design promotional materials for fundraising and volunteer recruitment
    • Collaborate with founder on storytelling-driven visuals

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools)
    • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling
    • Ability to design accessible, easy-to-read content
    • Sensitivity to trauma-informed and survivor-centered messaging
    • Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines
    • Passion for social impact, advocacy, or nonprofit work
