Equipment Transportation Volunteer
Organization: Leveling the Fields
Commitment: A few hours, three times per fall/spring season
Reports to: Programs Committee Chair
Works Closely With: Executive Director, Coaching Coordinator, Programs Team
Position Overview
The Equipment Transportation Volunteer supports the Programs Team by transporting program equipment for Leveling the Fields throughout the fall and spring seasons. This role owns equipment rotation to ensure every program has the right supplies.
Core Responsibilities:
Equipment Rotation & Storage
- Manage rotation of equipment between programs and schools to maximize use.
Program Support & Wrap-Up
- Collect and inspect equipment at program end.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
- Able to lift and transport equipment (about 20-30 lbs).
- Interest in youth sports or operations support.
- Access to a mid to large-sized vehicle for transportation.
Success Looks Like
- Every program starts with complete, ready-to-use equipment kits.
- No last-minute equipment shortages.
- Efficient reuse and rotation of equipment across programs.
