    Description

    Gentiva Hospice serves Ingham County and we have some volunteer opportunities for visits to seniors that are on hospice care. Patient live in their own homes or in facilities. Volunteers are able to connect with seniors by making friendly visits. Many people love company. Activities may include conversations, watching TV, reading or being read to, listening to music, crafts, card games, or putting puzzles together. Sometimes, just being present is all that a patient needs. This a time where volunteers are able to devote time to them that is strictly devoted to what they desire to do.

    Once required training is complete, the volunteers schedule is 100% flexible.

    Training is provided by Gentiva Hospice.
