    Description

Monthly Yard Beautification Volunteers Needed at Pathways homeless shelter

Volunteers can help keep the outdoor space at our Anaheim family shelter welcoming, safe, and well-groomed. Our shelter currently houses multiple families, and a well‑kept yard gives them a peaceful place to relax, play, and breathe a little easier.

We’re looking for between 1-2 adult volunteers to join us for a few hours of yard work each month. The hours can be between 7am-4pm and the shelter is located in Anaheim. Tasks are simple but meaningful—trimming bushes, mowing a small patch of grass, raking leaves, and pulling weeds to keep the grounds looking their best. If you have gardening tools you can bring, that’s wonderful, but we’ll have some available for anyone who needs them.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just enjoy being outdoors, your time will make a real difference for the families who call this place home. We’d love to have you join us and be part of this ongoing effort to create a beautiful, welcoming environment.

Please complete Pathways of Hope's online individual volunteer application at www.pohoc.org/volunteer and our Volunteer Program Specialist will give you a call.

Thank you for supporting our community's most vulnerable residents during these difficult times!
