Do you like organizing events? Do you want to help a great organization help a lot of people? We can use your skills!
Peace House Community is a community center serving homeless and low income adults. We've been around for over 40 years, but last year was the first time we organized a large event. We're looking for someone who can help the Board of Directors with planning events and assigning tasks to ensure the events run smoothly. We want to run two events this year (a small bike ride and a fall gala).
Out total budget is $550,000, and we are counting on these events to generate $180,000. Last year's 40th anniversary gala raised $150,000.
