Description
Sara is a thoughtful and confident 15-year-old entering 11th grade. She is a "future veterinarian" who loves sushi, cooking with family, and staying active at the gym. While she can be a little reserved at first, she is incredibly observant and adaptable. Note: Sara is allergic to cats, so she needs a cat-free home, but she would love to be in a home with dogs!
We are looking for a host family to welcome Sara into their home as a member of the family. Whether you have kids, are empty nesters, or are a single-parent household, what matters most is your heart for cultural exchange.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment.
- Provide three meals a day (student has their own spending money for eating out).
- Treat the student as a member of the family, not a guest.
- Help the student integrate into the local community and high school.
- Volunteer opportunity (no stipend is provided)
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Have a spare bedroom (students can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender and similar age).
- A heart for cultural exchange and supporting a young person's dreams!
