2026 MLK National Day of Service - 'The Financial Lessons of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'

The Financial Empowerment Center at Prince George's Community College is hosting a special ZOOM presentation at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026 called the 2026 MLK National Day of Service - 'The Financial Lessons of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'

We are looking for volunteers and participants who are interested in finding their own lessons from their financial journey and lifestyle.

The specific role is a facilitator (participant) who guides the discussion in one of our ZOOM breakout rooms. A pre-program training will be held at 9:30 a.m. on the morning of the program, prior to the official 10 a.m. program start time. (NOTE: IF the program is under-attended, volunteers are invited to take part in the scheduled program as a regular attendee.)
