Role Summary

We’re looking for a paid, dedicated Assistant to the Founder to help keep our rescue running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone located in Tecate, BC who is organized, proactive, and passionate about animal welfare. You’ll support the founder with administrative tasks, foster and volunteer coordination, vet appointments, and general communication—especially if you speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist the founder daily with:
  • Scheduling and coordinating vet appointments
  • Communicating with foster families, volunteers, and adopters via phone, email, or text
  • Managing emails, calendar, and administrative tasks
  • Supporting event coordination and other operational needs as required
  • Providing general assistance to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

• Located in Tecate, BC
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and following directions
• Passion for animal welfare and rescue work
