    Description

    This role will provide oversight of the Training Coordinator (TC) position across all 30+ college chapters of A Moment of Magic. The individual in this role will work directly with chapter leaders to ensure volunteers are fully prepared to deliver high-quality, mission-driven visits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead consistent communication and mentorship of TCs, including facilitating monthly check-ins and hosting training sessions
    • Assist TCs with teaching each casted A Moment of Magic Member how to portray thier assigned character up to our integrity standards.
    • Monitor and evaluate chapter character integrity performance, offering proactive support to ensure members are equipped with the necessary character performance skills and knowledge to facilitate visits occurring regularly, volunteer integrity is upheld, and each chapter maintains strong operational health
    • Support and promote organizational programming initiatives as needed, including internal fundraising efforts and family-centered programming
    • Provide regular updates and insights to the Operations Manager on chapter performance and emerging needs

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    The ideal candidate is highly organized and brings experience in leadership, team management, and program implementation. They are a strong communicator who can both motivate and hold teams accountable. The role holds an estimated time commitment of 5 hours per week.

    As a mission-driven nonprofit, A Moment of Magic is dedicated to harnessing the power of play to spark joy, reduce isolation, and support the mental health and emotional healing of medically vulnerable children and their families. This individual should be deeply aligned with that mission and passionate about creating meaningful impact through character performance.
