    Description

    Family Pal Counselor - Summer (Volunteer)

    Are you ready for a life-changing weekend of camp-filled fun and excitement? Camp Korey is a nonprofit camp that serves kids with life-altering medical conditions and their families. We are looking for Family Pals to join us for our Family Weekends to help our kids and their families have the best time possible!

    Family Pals are attached to one family for the week to essentially "hang out with them." Get to know them - supporting them in all the activities - and making sure they are safe and having fun!

    We have 7 summer sessions where we are looking for volunteer applications:

      • 6/28-7/2 Session 1 - General Conditions
      • 7/5-9 Session 2 - Genetic Disorders & Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine
      • 7/12-16 Session 3 - Craniofacial & Vascular Anomalies
      • 7/19-23 Session 4 - Metabolic Bone Disorders & Skeletal Dysplasia
      • 7/26-30 Session 5 - Cardiac, Respiratory & Transplant
      • 8/2-6 Session 6 - Sickle Cell & Hemophilia
      • 8/9-13 Session 7 - General Conditions

    The time commitment is Sunday morning through mid-day Thursday. This is an overnight position that you will stay at camp. Food will also be provided for all meals!
