    Description

    WinWinLabs, is an education first non-profit organization committed to developing the next generation of talent in the American economy through our gamified product development competitions in which startup teams compete to bring a product to market. This originates from the belief that the best ideas with the best execution brings out the best in our world.

    Startup teams typically consists of various professionals from different fields to organize together around a mission to solve a problem. The teams go through an intensive five-week product development sprint cycle researching, ideating, product designing and developing, iterating and then presenting their minimum viable product with pitch decks to judges from target industry, company recruiters and hiring managers.

    The success of this program will provide the following:

    1. Bring out the best in our committed members and an experience of a lifetime
    2. Showcase our organization’s talent to prospective employers to attract employment opportunities
    3. Make the world a better place by solving a problem one at a time
    4. Strengthen the American economy with the best talent and innovation

    We're specifically looking for a UX Designer who can provide invaluable assistance in the following 5 key areas:

    1. User Research & Analysis: Help us understand the needs and behaviors of our diverse user base (e.g., volunteers, beneficiaries, donors). Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights that will inform our design decisions.
    2. Information Architecture & Wireframing: Collaborate on defining the structure and organization of our digital platforms (e.g., website, internal tools). Develop sitemaps, user flows, and wireframes to visualize and plan effective user journeys.
    3. Prototyping & Usability Testing: Create interactive prototypes (low to high fidelity) to test design concepts and gather early feedback. Plan and conduct usability tests to identify pain points and validate design solutions.
    4. UI/Interaction Design & Style Guides: Work on improving the visual design and interactive elements of our digital interfaces, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices. Help establish or refine a style guide to maintain a cohesive brand experience.
    5. Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Provide guidance on implementing accessibility best practices to ensure our digital products are usable by everyone, regardless of ability. Help us champion inclusive design principles throughout our development process.
