    Description

    Food Pantry - Friday morning food unloading

    Pete & Andy’s Food Pantry (Providence) serves 175–225 local families every week. We’re looking for reliable volunteers to help us unload and stock our Rhode Island Food Bank delivery on Friday mornings.

    When

    • Fridays, 10:00 AM (about 2 hours)
    • Come every week, monthly, or as your schedule allows—even once every 6 months helps!

    What You’ll Do

    • Unload food from pallets and bring into the pantry using hand trucks
    • Stock freezers, coolers, and shelves
    • Break down cardboard, take out recycling, etc.

    Volunteers should be comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs (most boxes are 15–20 lbs).

    Who Can Volunteer

    • Individuals and groups welcome—great for corporate teams
    • Inclusive, welcoming environment in partnership with St. Peter’s & St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church
    • All are always welcome
