Each week, these carefully packed meals are discreetly placed into the backpacks of participating students, ensuring that they have access to nutritious food over the weekend when school meals are not available. This initiative not only addresses immediate hunger but also fosters a sense of community and support, empowering volunteers to play a crucial role in alleviating food scarcity and promoting the well-being of young learners.
This opportunity may require reaching and long term standing. Volunteers should be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs to move boxes of food or other consumable goods.
