    Description

    The Network Theory Applied Research Institute is a 501.c3 dedicated to improving the internet. We consult municipalities in developing mesh networks for distributed edge computing/data storage, and open-source coordination software development and implementation. We are searching for someone to serve a three year term as treasurer, overseeing financial affairs, maintaining financial records, provideing financial reports to the Board, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

    The treasurer will be responsible for establishing and overseeing policy for grant writing/management, crowdfunding, financing, and fundraising coordination with volunteer and staff executives in a Slack workspace as well as relationship building with foundations and institutional funders.
