    Description

    Disaster Response National Deployment Candidates

Support large scale disaster relief operations through a two-week deployment to a disaster impacted community. Volunteers who deploy can work in a wide variety of roles.

When hurricanes, wildfires, and other disasters strike, families are left without the basics—food, shelter, and comfort. You can be the one who helps them begin to recover. Deploy across the country to deliver shelter, supplies, and support when it’s needed most. Explore the Red Cross website to find the role that is right for you:

Community Engagement & Partnerships Service Associate: Work with local partners to build capacity, coordinate activities, and provide channels to reach disaster-affected communities, especially underserved populations

Shelter Resident Transition Team Service Associate: Help shelter residents create personalized plans to transition to sustainable living solutions.

Feeding Service Associate: Ensure people in disaster impacted areas do not go hungry by safely preparing and/or serving meals to individuals, families and communities.

Logistics Fulfillment Service Associate: Support congregate shelters during disaster relief operations by resourcing and delivering supplies through daily visits.

Logistics Transportation Service Associate: Support disaster relief operations through the maintenance, inventory and servicing of Red Cross owned vehicles.
