    Description:

    Savo Island is seeking 1–2 volunteers to support a one‑time Easter Bunny Photo Booth event for residents. This fun, community‑focused activity will give residents the opportunity to take Easter photos while fostering connection and engagement.

    The event will take place on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with volunteers asked to arrive at 3:00 PM for setup. The total volunteer shift is approximately 3.5 hours. This is a one‑time opportunity. Only one parking space is available, and volunteers may park in a staff parking space.

    Reports to:

    Volunteer Coordinator and the site’s Service Coordinator

    Goal of Position:

    To support a fun, welcoming seasonal event that builds community connection, allows residents to enjoy a festive experience, and encourages engagement with on‑site services.

    Specific Tasks:

    Volunteer 1 (Easter Bunny / Event Support):

    1. Assist with setting up a simple photo booth.
    2. Wear an Easter Bunny costume so residents can take photos.
    3. Help create a welcoming atmosphere and engage with residents.
    4. Support staff in introducing themselves to residents and assisting with scheduling intakes or survey appointments as needed.

    Volunteer 2 (Photography Support):

    1. Take photos using a cellphone during the event.
    2. Email and print photos onsite.
    3. Place photos into frames and distribute them to residents.

    Qualifications:

    Physical/Age Requirements:

    • Able to stand, move around, and assist with light event setup during the shift.

    Skills/Education/Experience:

    • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with residents.
    • Comfortable using a smartphone to take and manage photos.
    • Reliable, patient, and willing to help in a fast‑paced, community event setting.
