The intern will work closely with the Strategic Alliance Team to identify collaboration opportunities, coordinate partnership activities, and help strengthen relationships with organizations that support YesLiberia’s mission of empowering young people in Liberia through education and opportunity. • Assist in preparing outreach emails, follow-up messages, introductory presentations, and other communication materials for prospective and existing partners.
    • Support the preparation of partnership proposals, presentations, meeting agendas, and other documents under the guidance of the Partnership Team.
    • Help maintain and update the partnership database by recording contact information, communication history, follow-up activities, and partnership progress.
    • Assist in coordinating virtual partner meetings, preparing meeting materials, documenting key discussion points, and tracking agreed-upon action items.
    • Collaborate with communications and fundraising teams to gather partnership updates, organizational information, and impact stories for newsletters, social media, and other communication materials.
    • Participate in team meetings, provide progress updates, complete assigned tasks, and contribute ideas to improve partnership outreach and coordination.

    Requirements:

    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
    • Ability to conduct basic online research and organize information effectively.
    • Interest in nonprofit management, partnership development, business development, or relationship management.
    • Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and collaborate with a remote team.
    • Proactive attitude, reliability, and willingness to receive feedback and guidance.
    • Commitment to YesLiberia’s mission and values.
    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, online documents, and spreadsheets.
    • Previous experience in partnerships, outreach, or nonprofit work is an advantage but not required.
    • Familiarity with Monday.com or other project management tools is a plus but not required.
