    About LoopRoots Foundation

    LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families and rebuilding futures for those impacted by incarceration and systemic barriers.

    We operate a network of community-based programs that address family stability, reentry support, and long-term opportunity:

    • Loop Works – Workforce development & job placement
    • Loop Financial Literacy – Banking, credit repair, and financial wellness
    • Loop Housing – Affordable housing, rental support, and first-time homeownership
    • Loop Entrepreneurs – Small business mentorship and microenterprise support
    • Loop Legal – Record expungement & legal advocacy
    • Loop Youth – Youth engagement, sports, arts, and mentoring
    • Loop Health – Mental health counseling, wellness, and community health programs

    Position Summary

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Operations Manager (Volunteer) to help streamline the daily functions of LoopRoots Foundation.

    This role ensures our programs, volunteers, and partnerships operate smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our mission.

    You’ll work directly with the Founder and department leads to coordinate workflows across our programs, manage communication systems in Zoho, and ensure all projects stay on track.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily operational tasks across programs (Loop Works, Loop Housing, Loop Youth, etc.)
    • Manage project timelines and task assignments in Zoho Projects
    • Support volunteer onboarding and maintain updated team directories
    • Assist with compliance and documentation for grants, funding, and reports
    • Maintain calendars, meeting schedules, and weekly updates
    • Track budgets, invoices, and expense reporting alongside the leadership team
    • Help prepare monthly progress summaries and internal reports
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiency

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Experience managing teams, programs, or operations (nonprofit preferred)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Familiarity with project management tools (Zoho, Asana, or Trello)
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused
    • Comfortable working independently and remotely

    Preferred Experience (Bonus)

    • Background in nonprofit operations, project coordination, or administration
    • Knowledge of fundraising, grant reporting, or program compliance
    • Familiarity with community or justice-impact initiatives
