    About She’s Going Places (SGP)

    She’s Going Places (SGP) empowers women and girls through financial literacy, hygiene programs, personal and professional development, and cultural exchange opportunities. Our Women’s Health Program promotes dignity, wellness, and access to essential resources both locally and globally.

    Volunteers in our Women’s Health Team help deliver programs that advance health equity, education, and empowerment for women and girls.

    Position Summary

    The Webpage & Content Manager Volunteer will maintain and enhance SGP’s Women’s Health webpage and online presence. This role ensures that content is accurate, accessible, and engaging, while amplifying the impact of our programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Update and manage the Women’s Health webpage (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar platforms).
    • Translate program research and initiatives into engaging content such as blog posts, guides, and infographics.
    • Track and report basic website analytics; suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
    • Collaborate with Program Development and Research volunteers to ensure digital content reflects current initiatives.
    • Ensure all content aligns with SGP’s mission, pillars, and values.
    • Work closely with both the Women’s Health Program Director and the Marketing Department to maintain smooth communication and alignment across departments.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
    • Strong writing, editing, and research synthesis skills.
    • Organized, reliable, and responsive to team needs.
    • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage dual reporting lines.
    • Interest in women’s health, equity, and digital outreach.

    Time Commitment

    • 3–5 hours per week (remote and flexible).
    • Participation in monthly virtual team check-ins.

    Reporting Structure

    This volunteer will report directly to the Women’s Health Program Director and also coordinate with and report to the Marketing Department to ensure content strategy and program communications flow seamlessly.
