    Description

    Volunteer Advocate

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children in Juvenile Court. A CASA volunteer is the child's voice in court and makes recommendations to the judge that are in the child's best interest. CASA volunteers help to move cases through the system so that abused and neglected children do not linger in foster care and find safe, permanent homes more quickly. CASA volunteers help children to know that someone cares about them and will advocate for their best interests.
