The Role We are looking for a Volunteer Operations Coordinator to serve as the facilitator of our volunteer community. You will be the primary link between our internal operations team and our volunteer pool. Your goal is to ensure that our dedicated supporters are well-informed, effectively deployed to local events, and—most importantly—feel connected to the impact we are making.

What You’ll Do

• Operations Sync: Attend RHF virtual operations meetings to understand our current goals (e.g., upcoming workshops, scholarship drives, or technology distribution events).
• Volunteer Deployment: Manage a pool of volunteers, matching their skills and availability to specific needs like staffing community booths, assisting at workshops, or helping with outreach.
• Community Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for volunteers. This includes sending follow-up emails, providing event logistics, and ensuring volunteers feel appreciated after their shifts.
• Streamline Processes: Help us refine how we track and communicate with volunteers so that tasks like "booth staffing" or "email follow-up" are simple and rewarding experiences.
