    Description

    Spanish Speaking Hospice Volunteer

    We at Bexar Hospice have several patients that are bilingual, mainly speaking Spanish and English. We are looking for some compassionate and caring bilingual individuls who are interested in providing companionship to our biligual patients.

    Our People Who Love People volunteer program allows one to share their compassion and empathy, while offering invaluable support to our patients and their families. Volunteer opportunities can include: patient companionship, caregiver relief, playing games and puzzles, and many more

    Our volunteer team works with you and your schedule to provide the best experience for you and our patients. We typically ask for weekly visits but we can work with you to find a schedule that works best. Volunteers do have to to meet the same standards and requirements of our staff performing similar activities.

    Volunteers must provide the following:

    • Resume
    • Current Driver's License
    • Proof of Auto Insurance
    • Covid Vaccination card (if applicable)
    • I-9 Verification such as passport/passport card, social security card, and/or birth certificate
