    Digital Media & Social Media Volunteers (21 Positions) – Apostolic Voice Education Trust (AVET)

    About AVET

    The Apostolic Voice Education Trust (AVET) is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming communities through education, leadership development, mental health awareness, vocational skills development, and community empowerment. We believe in using digital media to inspire change, share knowledge, and connect people with opportunities that improve lives.

    We are looking for 21 passionate and creative volunteers to join our Digital Media & Communications Team. This is an excellent opportunity for students, graduates, and professionals who want to gain practical experience while contributing to meaningful social impact.

    Available Teams

    Volunteers will be assigned to one of the following platforms:

    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • LinkedIn
    • TikTok
    • YouTube
    • WhatsApp Communities
    • Threads

    Each platform has a dedicated team working together to create engaging and impactful content.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create engaging social media content.
    • Design graphics using Canva or similar design tools.
    • Write compelling captions and promotional copy.
    • Create short-form videos, reels, and stories.
    • Respond to comments and community messages professionally.
    • Promote AVET programmes, campaigns, events, and success stories.
    • Support awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and volunteer recruitment.
    • Work collaboratively with other volunteers and participate in virtual team meetings.
    • Help grow AVET's online community through creative engagement.

    Who We're Looking For

    We welcome applications from individuals who:

    • Are passionate about social impact and community development.
    • Have an interest in digital marketing, communications, or social media.
    • Have good written and spoken English.
    • Are creative, reliable, and willing to learn.
    • Can commit approximately 5–10 hours per week.
    • Have access to a smartphone or computer and a reliable internet connection.
    • Experience with Canva, video editing, photography, or social media management is an advantage but not required—training will be provided.

However, prior experience is not required—we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and committed to making a positive impact.

    Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a virtual interview and orientation session before final placement within one of our social media teams.
