    Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven intern to join our team as a Grant Writing and Development Intern or volunteer. We offer a unique opportunity to build foundational skills in nonprofit fundraising while contributing to meaningful work in the community.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and public sources
    • Assist in drafting and editing grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funder reports
    • Help maintain grant tracking spreadsheets, deadline calendars, and donor records
    • Support preparation of program narratives, data summaries, and supporting documents
    • Assist with general development and fundraising communications as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in a relevant program (Communications, English, Public Health, Social Work, Political Science, or related field welcome) or;
    • Demonstrates the passion and drive to excel in this position as a volunteer (please contact us if you are interested but you are not a student).
    • Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
    • Eager to learn with a proactive, can-do attitude
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
    • Genuine interest in the nonprofit sector and the social determinants of health
