Volunteer Role: Weekly Newsletter + Mailchimp Pro (Low Drama, High Impact)
Do you enjoy creating clean and engaging emails that people actually open?
Our Safe Space is looking for a Mailchimp-savvy volunteer to help bring our weekly newsletter to life. This is a steady, creative role with clear content, realistic expectations, and a lot of heart.
About Us
Our Safe Space is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2024. We create welcoming, judgment-free spaces for personal growth, creativity, and connection—especially for women and LGBTQ+ community members.
In just 18 months, we’ve grown to 600+ engaged members and host a full calendar of free workshops, book clubs, and community events. Our weekly newsletter is how we stay connected and grounded as a community.
Why This Role Matters
Our newsletter is the thread that ties everything together. It’s how members find upcoming events, reflect on shared ideas, and feel like they belong—even if they never turn their camera on.
With your help, the newsletter stays clear, inviting, and consistent—without becoming overwhelming or overproduced.
What You’ll Do
Time commitment: generally 1–2 hours per week
