    Description

The Booth Western Art Museum is looking for committed individuals to assist our onsite Educators with a variety of assignments during our school programming. On average our museum receives 1-2 visits from public, private, and home schools Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am-1:00pm during the school season. Our on staff Educators are in charge of communicating content related to the Georgia Standards of Excellence based off of their grade, but many of our stations require extra assistance. This is where our volunteers come into play! Assistants help with art activities, maintaining/resetting stations, and transferring groups through the museum to their Educators. Shifts are typically 1.5-2 hours a day.

Prior to onboarding individuals will have to:

    -Submit an application

    -Undergo a background check

    -Complete an orientation & training

We do not accept court mandated volunteers.
