    Organization: Pretty With Purpose, Inc.

Short summary: Plan and coordinate wellness workshops, fitness activities, and self-care learning that help young women build resilience, healthy habits, and confidence. Flexible, deliverable-focused volunteer role.

    About us

Pretty With Purpose, Inc. is a nonprofit empowering young women through mentorship, leadership development, college and career readiness, workforce development, health and wellness, and community engagement. This role leads our Health & Wellness Program, helping participants care for their minds, bodies, and futures.

    What you will do

    • Manage the program calendar for wellness workshops, fitness activities, nutrition education, mindfulness sessions, and self-care planning
    • Coordinate age-appropriate sessions on topics like mental health awareness, stress management, sleep, nutrition, healthy relationships, and substance-use prevention
    • Bring in qualified speakers, facilitators, and community partners
    • Help participants build self-care plans that strengthen coping skills and emotional regulation
    • Connect participants to community health and counseling resources through approved channels
    • Track attendance, participation, and wellness outcomes
    • Report progress and resource needs to the Director of Programs and recommend improvements

    Who you are

    • Organized, dependable, and strong at follow-through and communication
    • Skilled at juggling deadlines and keeping accurate records
    • At ease working respectfully with teens, families, volunteers, and community partners
    • Committed to confidentiality, youth safety, and appropriate boundaries
    • Preferred, not required: experience in health education, wellness programming, nutrition or fitness education, or community health, and first aid/CPR training

    What you will gain

    • Hands-on program management experience with measurable outcomes
    • Experience building partnerships with community health and wellness organizations
    • Collaboration with other program managers and nonprofit leadership
    • A meaningful role in supporting the wellbeing of young women

    Commitment

Ongoing volunteer role, reviewed periodically. Hours are flexible and focused on deliverables, coordinated with your supervisor, the Director of Programs. This is a coordination role, not a clinical one. Volunteers do not provide counseling or medical advice, and follow PWP policies on youth safety, confidentiality, and escalation of urgent concerns.
