Must be able to transport your foster kittens to veterinarian appointments adoption days in the San Pedro and PV area. Must be comfortable working with cats and kittens.
Description
Fostering cats and kittens is incredibly rewarding. All of our cats and kittens are rescues. Our volunteer fosters provide socialization and love for our rescued cats and kittens, while they await placement in a loving home. We hold adoption days a couple of times a month.
The time commitment can vary from a few weeks to a few months depending on how quickly the kitten(s) are adopted. You’re able to foster one kitten or a whole litter! Homes with kids, dogs, and other cats are welcome to apply. We provide all of the supplies you’ll need as well as helpful tips from our more seasoned fosters.
- Are 18 years or older
- Can respond to emails quickly
- Able to transport fosters to veterinarian appointments and local adoption events
- Are comfortable giving medication (can be trained on this)
- Ideally have previous cat care experience
