    Description

    Hospice volunteers give of their time for the betterment of others by offering companionship, social and emotional support and practical assistance wherever a patient resides. These services can include listening and reading, to walking the family dog and veteran to veteran support. Volunteers do not provide physical care or transportation. All volunteers undergo background screenings, health screenings and training to best support each patient and family's unique needs.
