Summary of Position:
The Kits Program Volunteer Coordinator will work alongside the Director of Kits Programs to assist in coordinating and supporting all Kits tasks and warehouse volunteers. The Kits Program Volunteer Coordinator will train local volunteers, act as the main point of communication for volunteers, and oversee all Kits packing and events preparation. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, self-motivation and professionalism.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Train and coordinate volunteers in packing medical Kits
- Coordinate projects with local volunteers
- Coordinate CURE Kit pick-up orders
- Manage materials and supply preparation for Kits for Kids events
- Coordinate volunteer groups in quality checking returned Kits for Kids and Merck for Mothers kits
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail is essential
- Willingness to work with and train volunteers
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Basic knowledge of computer and email technology
