    Hospice Volunteer Opportunities (Greater Lehigh Valley)

    Hospice Volunteers - AseraCare Hospice in Allentown and Amedisys Hospice in Bethlehem are looking for all types of volunteers to support our efforts in Northampton, Berks, Lehigh, Carbon, and Schuylkill County.

    We are looking for a variety of companionship, administrative, and indirect volunteers.

    • Companionship - Spending one-on-one time with patients at their homes or facilities.
    • Administrative - Help with a variety administrative tasks at our offices in Allentown/Bethlehem or from your own home.
    • Indirect - Making crafts and homemade cards to gift to patients/caregivers.
    • Sitting Vigil - Being present with a patient in their last moments of life.
    • Bereavement - Provide extra support to families after a loved-one passes.
    • Vet-2-Vet - Impact Fellow Veterans, Honoring Service for a lifetime.
    • Pet Therapy - Provide joy and companionship through pets.
    • Music - Share your talents and love of music with others.
    • Sewing/Crafting - Make and crafted-items to our patients and families as an extra "special touch" to show that we care.
