    Description

We Are MOJA. We Are One. And We Need You.

Imagine a world where every girl grows up knowing she matters, where curiosity is celebrated, purpose is nurtured, and she has the space to design her own future.

At MOJA, we are building that world by creating environments where all children develop the skills, confidence, and character to shape meaningful lives and contribute to lasting, collective impact.

    Who we are:

MOJA is a social design organization with the mission to empower girls and women in Uganda through education, entrepreneurship, and holistic wellbeing. We're recruiting creative volunteers to amplify our impact through marketing and digital design. We operate three interconnected programmes: MOJA Garden (full scholarships for girls' primary education), the Imaginarium (a creative hub with library, computer lab, and design thinking space), and Creatives in Residence (bringing global expertise to our students). We also support tree-planting initiatives and collaborate with local women artisans.

    What we need:

Marketers, designers, and digital storytellers who can help us:

    • Create digital missions for our young members
    • Create compelling visuals and content for social media, newsletters, and campaigns
    • Design materials for our fundraising and membership drives
    • Strengthen our brand presence across digital platforms
    • Develop web content and digital experiences that feel authentic to our mission

    Why this is worth doing:

With your work you're directly enabling girls in Uganda to access education, safe boarding, nutrition, and creative opportunities. Every design, every campaign, every story you help tell brings us closer to our vision of a more equal world.

    The reality:

MOJA is a new organization with a very small team and big ambitions. This means your work will have visible impact (you'll see how it drives connection, memberships and donations), creative autonomy, educate children and the chance to shape how MOJA is seen by the world. You'll work closely with founders who are deeply passionate about this mission.

    Time and Skills:

Flexible commitment based on your availability. We need graphic designers, social media strategists, content creators, copywriters, video creators, and web designers. Nonprofit experience is a bonus, but passion for our mission is what matters most.

Ready to embark on a mission to reshape the future?
