Direct Care Volunteers Needed at Heartland Hospice!
Heartland Volunteers give patients and their caregivers moments of peace of mind and relief care.
Responsibilities:
- Sit with patients in their home setting (such as an Assisted living Facility, Nursing Home) for few hours for caregiver relief.
- Provide caregiver relief
- Provide companionship and socialization.
Examples: reading, talking, writing letters or crafts, playing cards.
Emotional and spiritual support.
- Perform/ play music.
