    Description

    Role Description

    We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Volunteer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about social media, community engagement, and Black liberation. As a Social Media Volunteer, you will help us enhance our online presence, engage with our community, and spread awareness about our programs, initiatives, and upcoming events.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Content Creation: Develop engaging and creative content for our social media platforms, including Instagram and LinkedIn.
    • Social Media Management: Schedule and publish posts regularly.
    • Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote our events, programs, and initiatives.
    • Analytics: Monitor and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Collaborate: Work closely with our team to ensure our social media strategy aligns with our goals and values.

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creativity and a keen eye for design.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Passion for Black liberation.
    • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
    • Prior experience in social media management is a plus, but not required.
