    Description

    Be a founding volunteer and help build a new nonprofit from the ground up! Guide VivaHope Foundation to its first programs and lasting impact on girls and young women.

    VivaHope Foundation is dedicated to empowering girls and young women through skill-building, mentorship, and pathways to economic independence. We are seeking a dedicated founding team to turn this vision into a fully operational nonprofit.

    • Founding Roles & Responsibilities**

    We are looking for 4-5 individuals to take on leadership roles based on their expertise, including:

    • *Operations Lead / Executive Partner:**
    • Lead 501(c)(3) filing (Form 1023)
    • Draft bylaws, Conflict of Interest policies, and other foundational documents
    • Establish operational procedures, bank accounts, and compliance frameworks
    • *Governance & Legal Lead:**
    • Oversee legal compliance for nonprofit formation and operation
    • Develop board governance structure and policies
    • Recruit founding board members and establish board committees
    • *Program Development Lead:**
    • Research and design initial programs aligned with our mission
    • Develop program curriculum, outcome metrics, and evaluation plans
    • Identify initial community partners
    • *Communications & Social Media Lead:**
    • Develop initial branding and messaging
    • Establish social media presence and website content
    • Create a communication strategy to attract volunteers and donors
    • *Fundraising & Development Lead:**
    • Develop an initial fundraising plan, including grant research and donor outreach
    • Set up donation processing systems
    • Draft initial grant proposals

    • Passionate about empowering girls and young women.
    • Experienced in one or more areas: nonprofit operations, governance, program development, legal/compliance, communications, social media, or fundraising.
    • Proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Excited about the opportunity to build something meaningful from scratch.

    • Commitment**

    • Able to participate remotely and occasionally onsite in Connecticut if needed.
