Description
You can help reduce the victimization of senior citizens who are often targeted for specific crimes or scams based on their age.
As an RSVP volunteer with the Seniors vs. Crime a project of the Florida State Attorney General and Polk County Sheriff's Department you can make a difference by investigating complaints and acting as a consumer advocate. Seniors vs. Crime is a project of the State Attorney General's Office and is highly successful in assisting victims.
- You MUST be 55+ years of age to volunteer.
- Prior law enforcement helpful but not required
- Working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel etc.)
- Prefer college education
- Analytic skills and fact finding ability desired
