    Description

    Job Title: Google Ads Manager

    Location: Remote

    Department: Marketing

    Reports To: Marketing Department Director

    Type: Internship (Part-Time) (Unpaid)

    Duration: 4 Months

    Job Descriptions:

    • Promote Resilience Inc.’s evidence-based Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum by developing paid media projects that support mission goals and campaign priorities.
    • Manage all aspects of Google Ads campaigns, including account structure, targeting, budgeting, scheduling, and ongoing optimization.
    • Plan, build, and optimize Search campaigns (and other Google Ads campaign types when applicable) to increase awareness, engagement, and conversions.
    • Create and improve paid search landing pages in collaboration with content and web teams to strengthen message clarity and conversion performance.
    • Conduct keyword research and develop PPC strategies to increase online visibility for SEL topics, emotional health resources, and program adoption.
    • Write and test ad copy (headlines, descriptions, extensions) aligned with Resilience Inc.’s brand voice and youth-/family-appropriate messaging.
    • Monitor campaign performance daily/weekly (CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA, impression share, quality score) and implement data-driven optimizations.
    • Set up and refine conversion tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversions) to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
    • Run A/B tests on ads and landing pages (copy, keywords, audiences, bidding strategies) and document learnings.
    • Optimize budgets and bids to maximize results while maintaining responsible nonprofit spending and mission alignment (including Google Ad Grants compliance if applicable).
    • Develop remarketing/retargeting strategies (when permitted and appropriate) to re-engage visitors and support program awareness.
    • Produce performance reports and dashboards, summarizing results, insights, and recommended next steps for stakeholders.
    • Stay updated on Google Ads policy changes, platform updates, and PPC best practices to continuously improve outcomes.
    • Collaborate with SEO, social media, outreach, and design teams to ensure consistent messaging across campaigns and channels.

    Requirements:

    • Strong alignment with Resilience Inc.’s mission and values, including commitment to promoting social and emotional health and expanding SEL adoption—especially in underserved communities.
    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent project experience).
    • Familiarity with Google Ads fundamentals (campaign setup, targeting, keywords, ad copy, bidding, and optimization).
    • Basic understanding of PPC performance metrics and ability to interpret results to make improvements.
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Google Tag Manager is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, budgets, and performance dashboards.
    • Ability to write clear, persuasive ad copy while maintaining brand voice and ethical, youth-appropriate messaging.
    • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environment.
    • Able to collaborate with a team and attend remote weekly meetings.
    • Reliable, punctual, and responsive in communication.
