Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Do you have a compassionate heart and a few hours to spare each week? Become a Hospice Volunteer and make a lasting impact in the lives of patients and families during one of life’s most important journeys.
🫶 What You’ll Do:
As a hospice volunteer, you’ll provide comfort, companionship, and support to patients and their loved ones. Opportunities include:
- Friendly visits to patients in their homes or care facilities
- Reading, playing music, or simply offering a listening ear
- Assisting with light errands or caregiver respite
- Supporting administrative tasks or special events
- Sharing special skills (e.g., pet therapy, art, music, Reiki)
💡 What We’re Looking For:
- A kind, empathetic, and reliable individual
- Good communication and listening skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries
- Must be 18+ and pass background and health screenings
- No medical experience required—training is provided!
