    Organization: Heart Art Healing

    Location: Remote (based in Mountlake Terrace, WA)

    Time Commitment: Approximately 4–6 hours per week (flexible schedule)

    Heart Art Healing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, fiscally sponsored by Shunpike Arts Collective. Founded in 2019, Heart Art Healing expands access to trauma-informed creative wellness programs that support emotional well-being, resilience, and community connection. Through art journaling, workshops, and community partnerships, we help individuals experience the healing power of creative expression.

    Role Overview

    Heart Art Healing is seeking a dependable and organized Volunteer Administrative & Outreach Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our growing nonprofit. This volunteer will serve as a key point of contact for the organization and help manage communications, outreach, and administrative tasks that keep our programs running smoothly.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and supporting meaningful community programs behind the scenes.

By supporting outreach, communications, and program coordination, this volunteer helps make it possible for more individuals to access creative wellness experiences that support emotional well-being and resilience.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Serving as a point of contact for general inquiries via email and phone
    • Managing and organizing incoming email communications
    • Updating information on the organization’s Wix website
    • Completing and submitting online forms, applications, and administrative paperwork
    • Creating and managing Eventbrite event listings for programs and trainings
    • Conducting community outreach via phone and email to potential partner organizations
    • Developing Canva presentations, flyers, and simple marketing materials
    • Assisting with coordination of workshops, trainings, and community events
    • Maintaining organized digital records and files

    Skills & Qualities

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Clear and professional written communication
    • Comfort communicating via email and phone
    • Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
    • Interest in nonprofit work, community wellness, or the arts

    This role is best suited for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, communicating clearly, and helping projects move forward by following through on details.

    Helpful Skills (Not Required)

    Experience with platforms such as Wix website editor, Eventbrite, Canva, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Drive) is helpful but not required. We are happy to provide guidance for volunteers who are comfortable learning new tools.
