    Description

    Are you interested in making a significant impact on a student’s life? Come join our incredible volunteer team at Community Education Partnerships (CEP)!

    CEP is a non-profit organization that works to serve youth experiencing houselessness and/or housing insecurity in the Bay Area. This includes providing education support through supply donations, one-on-one tutoring, and our group programs. By volunteering with us at our Children's Learning Center in Richmond, you can help build up a child’s confidence and instill joy in education that will help set them up for academic success, as well as provide a consistent, safe presence in their lives.

    As a volunteer tutor with CEP, you may:

    • Work 1-on-1 with a student for at least one hour a week in-person
    • Join our in-person group programs in the Bay Area
    • Provide homework support
    • Be a reading buddy/mentor
    • Play literacy and math game
    • Have fun!

    No teaching experience is required and anyone 16 years or older can volunteer.
