Description
Wanting to get involved with Habitat on the build sites but need a less strenuous activity? Join Habitat of NW Metro Atlanta's volunteer team as a Safety Coordinator!
The safety coordinator works during volunteer build days to ensure that necessary supplies are available and that participants are following site safety protocols.
Duties
- Check-in volunteers, making sure that each person has the proper attire and has signed the volunteer waivers
- Make sure coolers have enough ice, bottled water, and sports drinks
- Set up lunch buffet for construction volunteers and crew
- Assist with clean up at the end of the build day
Time Commitment
- Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 7:00am - 4:00pm
- 1x monthly (or more if desired!)
