POSITION TITLE Volunteer Paralegal
DESCRIPTION
Most legal work doesn’t change anything.
This might.
White Knight Law exists because the legal system doesn’t always reach the people who need it most. We work with crime victim advocacy groups on the cases that matter — complex fraud, criminal impersonation, financial crimes, abuse of legal process. The cases where accountability is possible, but only if someone is willing to do the work.
We’re looking for a paralegal who remembers why they got into this field.
What You’ll Do
Work directly alongside WKL’s founder on active litigation and advocacy matters — organizing case files, supporting court filings, proofreading legal correspondence and submissions, tracking deadlines, and helping build the evidentiary record that makes accountability possible.
No busywork. No layers between you and the mission. Just real cases, real documents, and real impact.
You’re the Right Person If
You have paralegal training or litigation support experience, you’re organized and detail-oriented, and you’re looking for work that means something beyond the billable hour. Discretion is essential — our matters involve sensitive facts and ongoing advocacy efforts.
What You’ll Walk Away With
Meaningful experience across complex litigation and criminal referral work. Direct access to a founder with a deep background in corporate law and nonprofit advocacy. And the rarer thing: the knowledge that what you did actually mattered to someone.
