    Description

    Flash Fiction Writing Contest Judge

    Ethos Literacy's mission is to provide free tutoring services to adults and teens (16+ who have left school) who face economic and educational barriers stemming from low literacy levels, limited English proficiency, or interrupted schooling. We focus on Adult Foundational Education providing participants with opportunities to improve literacy and numeracy skills, learn English, prepare to take a high school equivalency exam, or gain workplace skills. On average, they help around 130 beneficiaries per year.

    The Volunteer Opportunity

    Help Ethos Literacy - a nonprofit literacy program - judge stories submitted to its 7th Annual Short Short Story Contest. The Contest is a fundraiser to support free foundational skill tutoring to adults and teens (who have left school). Training provided. Virtual Opportunity. Dates Needed: December 2025 to March 2026. Time Commitment: 2 hours. Must be able to download a PDF file or read the file on a computer screen.
