At ANX Hospice, we believe that no one should walk through life’s final chapter alone. Hospice volunteers are a vital part of our team—offering presence, comfort, and compassion when it matters most.

What hospice volunteers do:

• Visit patients to offer companionship and a listening ear
• Share music, reading, or simple conversation
• Support families with small acts of kindness
• Assist with flower deliveries, administrative projects, or special programs
• Bring dignity, peace, and connection to patients and loved ones

Who can volunteer?

• Adults of all ages and backgrounds who have a heart for service
• Students seeking meaningful experience in healthcare, social work, psychology, or ministry
• Retirees, professionals, or community members looking to make a difference

Commitment:

We ask that volunteers commit to at least 6 months of service to build trust, relationships, and continuity of care for our patients and families. Training and ongoing support are provided.
