People Making a Difference (PMD) seeks to create a world in which people and businesses are socially aware and engaged in their communities such that they approach volunteerism by learning about problems and needs, becoming familiar with local charities that are working to address them, volunteering, and providing other needed resources to make a difference.
CORPORATE GROUP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
If you represent a corporate volunteer group, email Lori@pmd.org (or call (*82)1-781-963-0373) for details about our full-service, customized volunteer opportunities that make a real difference and build camaraderie, teamwork, etc. PMD's clients include Elevation Oncology, Omada Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Johnson & Johnson, and Dell EMC who have made no-sew blankets for needy children; assembled book folders to help mentors teach struggling children to read; assembled science kits to strengthen basic science education for middle and high school students; cooked and shared meals with frail elders; assembled print-Braille books to improve literacy of blind people; assembled paracord keychains for troops and first responders; and other needed activities customized for each corporate volunteer group's needs.
