    Description

    Food Leads seeks to hire a programming intern to support our Program Manager and Meal Kit Manager with program implementation. There may be additional opportunities to assist in other activities such as event planning and social media.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with meal kit packing and distribution
    • Assist with garden plot maintenance and harvesting
    • Coordinate and support volunteers
    • Assist lead instructor with cooking and nutrition classes
    • As availability allows:
      • Create social media content
      • Support event planning and execution

    Qualifications:

    • Must have access to a computer, smart phone, and internet access.
    • Passionate about equitable community development
    • Passion for food justice and health promotion
    • Good communication and customer service skills
    • Enjoy working with the public including diverse groups of people
    • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
    • Good time-management
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Google Docs
