Description

Serve Lunch to Men, Women and Children at Recovery on Redwood

Help prepare and serve a meal to residents in our detoxification and recovery program. Our residents are experiencing housing insecurity and substance addiction. Our dedicated case managers and staff assist residents with connecting to community resources that move them toward greater self-sufficiency.

Meal Preparation and Service Guidelines:

All volunteers must be at least 18.
You are responsible for assisting with food prep and cleaning the kitchen area, including washing and storing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down the countertops/cookware.
No photos or videos of our clients are permitted. You may take pictures of your group in the kitchen (and we're happy to help take pictures for you!), but please respect the privacy of our clients and ensure they are not included in these pictures. Media is not permitted to cover a volunteer shift.
