Position: Heritage Rose Garden Conservation Assistant
Location: Heritage Rose Garden at the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy
Reporting location can vary between our Visitor Center at 438 Coleman Ave, San Jose, CA 95110 and the Heritage Rose Garden which is about a 9 minute walk from our Visitor Center.
Time Commitment: Flexible hours, based on your availability
Duration: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits of rose varieties and garden features to ensure accurate inventory records
- Assisting in the creation and installation of plaques to recognize donors and supporters
- Helping to inventory and organize gardening supplies and equipment
- Collaborating with staff and fellow volunteers to complete a variety projects efficiently such as database management, weeding, pruning, planting, and watering as needed
