Support seniors and veterans at Airport, deeply affordable housing for those formerly chronically homeless. Volunteers assist with special events, lobby desk coverage, and light cleaning in a warm, welcoming community.
What will volunteers do?
Full Description
- Airport is deeply affordable housing serving individuals who were chronically homeless, with many residents who are seniors and veterans.
- We’re seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to support our Event Director and help keep our community welcoming and organized.
- Volunteers may assist with special events, greet residents and visitors at the lobby desk, and help with light cleaning tasks.
- This is a rewarding opportunity to build connections, offer kindness, and support residents who truly appreciate your time.
- You’ll work alongside gracious people in a respectful, calm environment where your presence makes a real difference.
- Whether you can help occasionally or on a recurring basis, your service helps create dignity, stability, and community.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Event Director with special events and activities
- Greet residents and visitors at the lobby desk
- Provide basic information and a friendly presence
- Help with light cleaning and tidying common areas
- Support a safe, welcoming environment
